This place offers a great stay for a pleasant visit, with a central location being a major advantage, and there is also a nearby lake and forest.

The hotel is clean, nestled in a nice building with an indoor restaurant. The venue rooms are new-fashioned and nicely furnished with TV, big balcony.

The accommodation is very nice, pool not big but clean. Located a bit off the beaten track on hills, but with TukTuk fast and cheap to the center. Rooms with great view to Kandy. Breakfast and dinner as buffet very versatile and delicious.
Located a bit off the beaten track, but it is relatively quiet, only very little street noise.

The hotel with view on the lake is very nice, we had the room on the 5th floor. The pool was clean and invites to swim. For the candleligth dinner we got a lantern on the table. The buffet was delicious.
The breakfast for 15 Euro could be more versatile for us Europeans.

Room spacious, a little outdated, but generally in order. Buffet in the morning and evening tasty and good. Large bathroom with good shower
Personnel except one at check in friendly. Very stinky and therefore not usable blanket

The weather was warm and sunny during my fantastic stay at Thilanka Hotel in Kandy. The breakfast was tasty and had a great selection of meals. The staff were charming and knowledgeable about the area.

We stayed in Room No.106 Sorry I am going to use this cage to highlight all short comings, since there is no cage for complaints No channel music. Console is broken. Bath/Toiltes are not Tiled. Stains on the floor. TV indoor antenna is broken. Very poor screen quality. Only one small toaster available for bread toasting for breakfast. Only two slices at a time .You need to wait in the queue. Car parking not organised properly, slots not sufficient. I do not think I can say that I like Thilanaka

Lizards in the room and corridors, monkeys tapping at your window in the night, the hotel staff does not speak any English and over charged us on a different price than Booked.net. The rooms we stayed in were different than what was shown on Booked.net. They were ugly and they smelled of fish. There were too many mosquitos and bees while we had breakfast. There was only one old style elevator in the hotel which was covered with cockroaches and ants. And when complained to the hotel staff, they kept saying it was hotel policy!

Lovely spot with a temple and sanctuary right nearby 🌿. This place boasts a great and beautiful location thanks to the close proximity of these unique sites.

The hotel staff were less than friendly. The rooms were adequately cleaned but the furniture was old and need replacing. We were unfortunate to have ants in our room and they refused to change rooms but merely sprayed the room. The monkeys were an issue and every morning we had monkeys sitting on our balcony and the monkeys even went into the dining area to steal from the buffet, which is very unhygienic! At dinner one night the hotel entertainment (four guys singing) tried to harass us to buy their cd, which completely spoilt the athmosphere!

Great location! This place is centrally situated near all the popular spots. It's super convenient because it's close to the forest and even near the cool Kandy Lake Club cultural show. 🌿

The hotel of choice in Kandy. Pleasant and lovely property in a big European style building. Marvellous and beautiful location of the hotel, very close to a temple and a sanctuary. Nearby Sizzle Sports Pub - great place to chill out. Perfect and fabulous rooms with good view and balcony and a great shower, exceptional breakfast. Approaching and good staff, quick check in...
Wi-Fi was weak.
